Could be Better May 4, 2010 Candice Blake Torres 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
Although the book does have lots of information about all the rides and restaurants, and events, I found that it was not very specific or detailed. The restaurants had no menu or reviews on the food quality. It only gave a brief description about the restaurant. The rides had no approximate wait times or individual reviews about each ride. The book does not include information about the history of the corn dogs or any other special mickey pretzels and treats in the park, nor does it include any information about the deaths that have occured in the park. I liked the book, but felt that it lacked lot of important facts and information and could've been written better.
Really fun read April 6, 2010 Kyle J. Morgan My wife got this for me before we went to Disneyland last year and it was really interesting while we were on vacation. After we returned home I found myself still picking it up and looking through it to find interesting facts.
I can easily use it to look up anything I hear about in relation to Disneyland. If you are a fan of the Disney parks this is a must.
This book is fantastic! September 13, 2009 Cynthia S. Miranda (Canoga Park, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a big fan of Disneyland and have been there many, many time. Therefore I thought I knew alot about Disneyland and I still learned so much from this book. Easy reference, easy to navigate through. What is great about this book is that it talks about rides that are no longer around. It talks about the Disneyland that could have been, as well as enfluencial people and Disney "terms". I highly recommend this book to every new and long time fan. Should be a part of every Disney library.
Great information July 17, 2009 D. M. Behm 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is not a good read if your looking for a story. This is an encyclopedia. I love the format of this book there are two way to look up information. First is by name if you know what the name is second is by location you can look at the front of the book and look at park maps and it will tell you what has ever been there and the names so you can look it up in to the book so its good to take to the park or read at your house. I love to see the changes that the park has had and love to read about them. BUY THIS BOOK. Happy 54th Disneyland.
A must have for every disneyland fan! April 8, 2009 Marco A. S. Garcia 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Very interesting, tells you absolutely everything about every attraction, restaurant, shop, parade, show and event that has ever existed on the original Magic Kingdom in short articles very enjoyable to read. I only wished that there were more and better photographs in it, but still a great book!
