| Customer Reviews: Leave This One At Home September 4, 2010 Disruptology (New York, USA) I bought this book for our week stay on Santorini and found it so useless it never left my luggage after the plane flight. It's not that there's bad information in this book, it's more that the information is way too generic to be useful when actually traveling. The author thanks 'Wikipedia' in his Acknowledgments, and that's what this feels like: a long Wikipedia entry.
There are no hotel or restaurants recommendations. There are no maps. There is nothing to help your orient yourself. If you just want to read a bit about Santorini before you go, then you might like this. Or you could save your money and read about it online.
It might not be self-published, but it definitely feels and looks that way. Go with a more mainstream guide and you won't be disappointed.
